Monday Mix No. 39

3/01/2021

Happy Monday and happy March! There’s something about starting a month on a Monday that feels so refreshing. I hope you’re looking forward to this month and a fresh start too.

As you’ve probably seen on my Instagram stories over the past week, spring has arrived in Tuscaloosa. Just a few short weeks ago we were experiencing single digit temperatures, and this weekend I got a little sunburnt by 80-degree sunshine. I’m thrilled that spring temperatures are here and am keeping my fingers crossed that they are here to stay.

Because I’ve been spending so much time outside recently, I have spring on the brain. I’m ready to pull out my spring clothes and bright colors (and potentially add an item or two to my closet). There are so many cute new arrivals that are just in time for spring, and I enjoyed perusing while putting together this week’s mix. Enjoy!

This tennis dress is my most recent purchase, and it’s only $32 when you apply the current available coupon. I’ve had my eyes on tennis dresses for some time and am excited to try out this one at an affordable price. I got the navy color and am hoping to wear it as soon as it arrives. I’ll keep you posted on my verdict.

Adding these pink leggings to the list of fun Amazon finds. If spring has not arrived yet and you’re still experiencing cooler temps, this pretty pink pair would be a great way to include some spring colors in your outfit while still staying warm. I really like that they are high-waisted and have a side pocket. They are available in several colors and come in a capri style, too.

Last week’s Monday Mix was St. Patrick’s Day central, and this green and white striped headband definitely belongs in the collection. This one is from Anthropologie and would be a great for a subtle touch of green for the upcoming holiday or a darling accessory for spring. It comes in other cute color combos too.

Lisi Lerch is one of my favorite jewelry brands and recently released part of its spring collection. Gold is a neutral in my opinion, and these stunning flower studs would be great from Zoom meetings to Happy Hour to a tropical getaway. They are the perfect subtle statement earring and would be pretty all spring and summer long.

I lived in comfy dresses from Target last summer, and I anticipate I will again this year. This pastel pink colored one is ideal for sitting at a desk all day, and the balloon sleeves are a fun flourish for Zoom meetings. Throw on a pair of white sneaks and a headband and you could easily wear this out and about too. It’s no surprise that the pink is my favorite, but I think the coral and teal colors are also perfect for spring.

Wishing you a great week ahead!
