Monday Mix No. 11

Happy Monday! I don’t know about you, but this Monday has felt like three days in one. Friday feels like it should be closer, don’t you agree?! Today’s mix is a fun combination of treat yourself items.

This dress is only $13 (!!!) and is a comfortable transition piece for the fall, especially if you’re still experiencing the heat wave in the South. Add a cardigan when it gets cooler and it will last you all season.

I purchased this romper last week and I already can’t wait to wear it. It’s perfect for gameday. I love that the big bow on the back is such a feminine touch.

How cute are these fun new earrings from Lisi Lerch?! I saw them on Insta today and added them to the mix immediately. They’re such a great pair that could be worn for countless occasions.

I’m on a #selfcare kick recently, and my ice roller has been my go-to. It’s so soothing and helps my skin feel hydrated after using it for just a few minutes each night.

I feel like I’ve been staring at my computer for hours on end recently and sometimes walk away with headaches. I’ve been looking at blue light glasses, and this pair is fun while doing the job. Only $17 too!

Monday Mix No. 10

Happy first day of fall! I love fall and it’s warm colors and cooler temperatures. It’s still hot here in Tuscaloosa. So today’s mix consists of a few fall items that are great for the season even if the temperatures aren’t quite low enough for sweater weather.

This flounce dress in pink is a great staple and works well for the transition into fall with some cute booties. I love that the flounce adds a feminine touch too.

Speaking of booties, this faux-suede pair is currently on sale and also comes in black and navy. Pair with jeans or a dress and you’re ready for fall.

This wrap tie skort looks so comfortable and would be perfect for gameday. It’s currently 50% off — no code needed!

Who else can’t wait for PSLs?! This cute mug is $15 and is ideal for sipping your favorite fall drink.

I’ve been eyeing this clear bag for gameday to bring into the stadium. It’s $15 and comes in multiple colors, so you can find one that works with all your gameday outfits.

Monday Mix No. 9

Though it’s still in the 90s here in Tuscaloosa, today’s Monday Mix is all fall inspired! I do love summer, but some cooler temps would be appreciated on my walks to class. If it’s fall where you are, I hope this week’s mix is more applicable to you. Here’s hoping for fall weather!

These tortoise earrings are under $30 and would be such a great staple for fall. The neutral colors go with countless outfits, and the floral shape is so feminine.

I love a good tweed piece for a business casual outfit. This short-sleeved top is great for dressing like fall even if the weather isn’t quite there yet. Grab an extra 15% off with code APPLES.

I haven’t switched over from iced coffee quite yet, but there’s nothing better than hot coffee on a cool fall morning. Evelyn Henson is my favorite artist and her new fall mug is too cute.

Fall colors are just so pretty, and this Essie nail polish in Stop Drop & Shop would be a great pop of color throughout the fall and into winter.

Corduroy skirts are a staple for fall wardrobes and can easily be dressed up or down. I love the color of this one, and it’s only $15!

Classic in Navy

dress (c/o) | crossbody | earrings (c/o) | shoes

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love dresses. They are comfortable, look put together and don’t require matching pieces. What could be better?!

I wear dresses frequently at school. They’re easy to walk around campus in — going from classes to work to extracurriculars. They help keep me cool in the extended Tuscaloosa summer heat. This navy dress is already a favorite. The linen is breathable and relaxed, and the navy is perfect to wear during the transition from summer to fall, even if the temperatures are still high.

Paired with my seersucker mules and rattan crossbody, this look is a great everyday dress that could be easily dressed up or down. Swap out the crossbody with my backpack and I’m good to go for a day on campus.

This dress is from Navy Bleu, a new online boutique carrying all things navy. I love how classic navy is and its versatility with other colors. The boutique has so many great investment pieces like this dress that make perfect go-to pieces for years to come.

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale

You may already know (and/or shopped), but the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale is on! It continues through tomorrow and is the best time to buy Lilly. The sale is large and has pieces from this spring and summer on huge markdown. I definitely wouldn’t miss it — especially if you’ve been eyeing an item this summer! Even though fall is just around the corner, Lilly said it best: “It’s always summer somewhere.”

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite pieces from the sale below. I’ve loved the colorful prints and fun styles this year. Lilly is such a timeless, classic brand, and many of the styles below are ones in my closet in different prints. I love that you can wear Lilly pieces year after year and to a variety of events. I always receive compliments on my Lilly — most of which has been accumulated through years of shopping the After Party Sale.

My biggest tip: order items individually. If you know you will order an item, go ahead and pay for it immediately rather than continuing to browse the sale. Just because an item is in your cart doesn’t mean that it’s saved. You don’t want to miss your favorite just because someone got to it before you did.

Happy shopping!

Monday Mix No. 8

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We had the first home game in Tuscaloosa this weekend, which was so much fun, but very hot! Today’s Monday Mix has a few gameday picks, as well as a few items I’ve loved recently.

These marble earrings would make a great gameday accessory. The black and white would work well with many school colors, and they are currently on sale!

I ordered this charcoal dress last weekend and can’t wait to wear it for an upcoming gameday. It’s lightweight and perfect for the southern heat.

Mixing it up with these pineapple book ends. They would make a great addition to any desk and help keep your workspace organized.

Snakeskin is very popular in the south right now, and I picked up these snakeskin flatforms over the summer. They make a great going out shoe and are comfortable to wear all night long. They are a fun gameday shoe, too!

These fuzzy slippers may seem like an odd item in the mix, but they are great for keeping my feet warm around the house. This pair is only $20 and may be my favorite pair of shoes I own. So cozy and warm!

Gameday with Kendra Scott

Happy Friday! Tomorrow is gameday in Tuscaloosa, and I couldn’t be more excited that football is back. I love Alabama for a number of reasons, and football is definitely on the list. Between meals at the house, tailgating, gameday traditions and cheering on the Tide, Saturdays in Tuscaloosa are guaranteed to be a good time.

In the SEC, we dress up for gamedays. I love putting together outfits for the games, and my closet has grown in its collection of white, gray and black. One of my favorite ways to add a touch of style to my outfit is through jewelry. These pieces from Kendra Scott will be perfect to wear all season long.

The Keerti Drop Earrings in gold are such a great fun and versatile pair. They are so lightweight and easily can be worn all day long. I know I will be wearing these for more than just gameday, too!

I added this necklace in this week’s Monday Mix, and I can’t wait to wear it for gameday. It is dainty and adds a little sparkle to an outfit.

If I’m going to be holding my shaker all day, my wrist needs to have a pop of fun too! The Elton Gold Cuff Bracelet fits nicely and I don’t have to worry about it sliding off if I’m cheering a little too hard, ha!

I can’t wait to continue to wear these beautiful pieces throughout the season with different gameday looks.

What are your go-to gameday pieces?

Monday Mix No. 7

Happy Labor Day! I hope your weekend has been full of college football and relaxation. Today’s Monday Mix features a few great sale pieces that I wanted to share and other items I’ve been eyeing.

Changing up the usual statement earrings with this pretty, dainty necklace I recently received from Kendra Scott. It’s currently 20% off and a piece that would work well with a variety of outfits.

For me comfort is key, and this blue ruffled dress looks perfect for wearing all day long. The color would transition so nicely into fall and could easily be dressed up or down.

If you’re looking to grab a swimsuit on sale before next year, this navy one with ric rac detailing would be a classic for years to come. Get an extra 60% off with code SUNSET.

Gamedays are back (woohoo!) and I’ve been eyeing shoes that are comfortable to wear for a long day of tailgating and watching the Tide roll. These cream flatforms are $20 and could be worn all season long.

Printed silk scarves are so in right now, and this pretty one is currently on sale for Labor Day. I love how colorful this one is!
