Life Lately / I'm Back!

What a busy spring, April and May were filled with lots schoolwork and lots of fun! Due to the heavy amounts of work I needed to complete often in short timeframes, I had to put everything on the backburner this month. Much to my dismay, this included blogging. This week is shaping up to be busy, but I really hope to get back into the swing of things soon. 

Despite the stress all the schoolwork brought with it, I had so much fun in between assignments! Here are some of my favorite memories from this spring. 

Rocksbox As I shared in this post, I am a Rocksbox It Girl. My first box arrived and I absolutely loved every piece inside. Don't forget to use the code 'letsgetpreppyxoxo' for your first month free! 

Lilly for Target To put it simply, my Lilly for Target experience was definitely one of the craziest and most chaotic shopping experiences of my life! In the end, I was really happy with what I was able to purchase, despite the little sleep and frustration it caused at the time. 

LUC Tour with Megan  Megan from Bowtiful Life was kind enough to meet me for coffee and give me a tour around Loyola University. It was so fun to talk to another Chicago blogger and see the beautiful campus as well. Thank you for the most wonderful time, Megan! 

Confirmation On the last weekend of April, I made my Confirmation at church, which was great! I was so thankful many of my family members were able to join me and celebrate the special day. I couldn't have asked for better weather, now I'm just hoping the rain stops soon so we can enjoy the sunshine again!

Travel  I traveled to Boston during the second weekend of May and had the best trip. It was great to visit some family, be a tourist, and enjoy some summer temperatures! 

 

Despite the stress that came with so much schoolwork, there were lots of great experiences. I was glad that my weekends were so fun and balanced out the busy week days.
