Vineyard Vines Rush Street Opening Day

6/20/2015

To say I was whaley excited for the opening of the Vineyard Vines stores in Chicago is an understatement. Since the close of the Michigan Avenue pop-up store (read about my visit here!) last spring, I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the new store. When Vineyard Vines posted on Instagram that there would be two stores in the Chicagoland area, it's safe to safe I was thrilled.

Yesterday, it was announced via Instagram (do you see a familiar face?! I was so excited to be featured!) both the stores in Oakbrook Center and downtown (N. Rush Street) opened for business. After a long, traffic-filled commute to the city, we finally arrived at the store downtown. It was impossible to miss with it's balloons and countless customers exiting with the ever-so-cute shopping bags.

Upon entering the store, I was greeted by the friendly staff. Everyone was so incredibly helpful and so kind! The store was really easy to navigate and I had the best time just looking around. I ended up purchasing a navy 'I Whale Chicago' tee shirt, because really, is there anything more appropriate to purchase in the Chicago store itself?!

I loved all the details. The whale tail wallpaper in the dressing room was the cutest. The wall display of ties was the perfect way to showcase their variety. The counter was definitely one of my favorite features!

Shep and Ian say it best, "Every day should feel this good!"

Have you ever visted a Vineyard Vines store?

xoxo,
Kathleen
