Dressing for the Chicago Tropics

The snow has returned! After a week or so with dirty snow barely covering the ground, we got a snowfall here earlier this week. While last time it was uber chilly (-40°s...) when it snowed, it's a bit warmer here this time, which means a few less layers but still bundled.

I think I will always be a fan of the J. Crew Herringbone vest. It goes with so many of what I would consider to be the basics during the winter, making it so easy to wear on the coldest of days. I always try to play with patterns a bit and this J. Crew tee shirt is the perfect thick tee shirt for winter. This Kate Spade hat is also a go-to (so warm). I was searching for a good hat to wear, and I love this one!
